Do You Know the Eight Useful Ways for Baby to Play Spoons
Do you know the following eight interesting and practical ways for your baby to play spoons?
First, playing “spoon instrument”, take a few spoons opposite face showing on the table or floor, let the child hold a spoon in his hand to knock the opposite face showing spoons one by one, also can knock while humming. This is a good game for baby, not only exercise wrist strength, but also cultivate sense of rhythm.
Second, prepare things with even grain for baby to scrape, such as washboard, baskets and other items. Let the child to scrape each item with a spoon to feel the difference. The effect of this spoon game is that it helps the child to improve color cognition. Pick their favorite spoons, the babies will be more willing o eat.
Fourth, pass table tennis. Prepare a few larger spoons for mother, farther and the child. Farther puts the ball in spoon to pass to the child, and let the child pass to mum, one by one. If have a few partners to play together, it will be more interesting. This game helps to train the child’s attention, improve his motor coordination and ability to cooperate with others.
Fifth, look at yourself in the “spoon mirror”. Find a bight shiny stainless steel spoon to use as a mirror. Let the child to look in the concave side and then in the convex side, he will soon find the different effect on both sides. This can stimulate the child’s desire to explore, and he will become more interested in spoons.
Sixth, move beans. Prepare some beans or rice in a bowl. Let the child to move the beans with a spoon, from the big bowl to a small bowl. This can practice the child’s fine motor skills, exercise his eye-hand coordination ability and help to understand the size of objects.
Seventh, build sand house. Take a spoon when the baby goes to play sand outside. Let the child dig sand with spoons to build a small house. He can also to pat the house with the spoon to make it more firm and strong. Though playing this game, the child can understand the texture of sand, contact with nature, and also promote children’s emotional stability, let him feel more enjoyable.
Eight, “hide” the eye, nose, mouth, shoulders, knees and so on. You can call the mane of each body part and let the baby cover with the spoon. This enhances the child’s understanding of each body part and also improves the agility of response.
